WHAT IS ALCHEMY ATHLETIC

Ruthlessly refined through 10 years of physical pursuits. From serving in Iraq and Afghanistan as a Royal Marines Commando, to 2 years as a full-time member of the Team GB Bobsleigh Team, to obliterating 5 World Records.

Alchemy Athletic was born from a frustration that the perfect “All-Round Program” didn’t exist.

A complete, all-encompassing approach that perfectly balances all the components we want to develop was something I was never able to find.

WHAT IS THIS PROGRAM

Becoming a true all-rounder, a true, MASTER GENERALIST means you’re an ATHLETE that’s strong, aesthetic, and athletic, with an engine to boot, and a global readiness to handle yourself in the great outdoors

Our flagship program has ensured enough inclusion of each that we get an amazing training effect, without too much of one that it compromises the others, and without too much volume overall in the program that we hit burnout.

It’s a hard balance to strike, but we think we’ve done it.

The MASTER GENERALIST system is our own unique

blend and balance of:

WHAT IS THE ON-RAMP SERIES

WHAT IS THE “ALCHEMY ATHLETIC ON-RAMP”?

In an attempt to add more credibility to our claim that the ALCHEMY system is advanced, thorough and expertly developed, we’ve created a COMPLETELY FREE 10-Day video series, delivered via a new email every day for 10 straight days.

WHAT WILL BE IN THE VIDEOS?

Each video will cover a different principle of the MASTER GENERALIST system. Including:

A) How much volume is actually needed throughout a training week to get stronger?

B) How do I get the best physique NOW and ensure I stay healthy long term?

C) How do I become “Athletic” if I don’t have a background in this? Will it get me injured?

D) How do I supercharge my recovery to ensure I actually get the benefit from the sessions I’m doing?

E) How to build an awesome Engine without compromising my hard work in the weight room?

And much much more…

Again, this email series is COMPLETELY free. Simply input your details below and you’ll be sent EMAIL 1 within the next few hours.

WHO AM I

Hey squad, my name is Jim Galvin. So you can understand how Alchemy Athletic came to be, let me tell you a little bit about myself. In 2008, I began my training to become a British Royal Marines Commando. Throughout my 4 and a half years of service I deployed to both Iraq and Afghanistan. In 2012, my last full year in the Marine Corps, I returned to my Athletic roots and my lifelong ambition of becoming a Team GB Athlete had been accomplished.

ALCHEMY ATHLETIC was created from my desire to share all I’ve learned, refined and iterated over the last 20 years of dabbling in the widest range of physical demands.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

1. Who is this program for

Typically the MG Program is for men with a minimum of 2-3 years training and lifting experience. Men who have indulged in a wide array of different training methodologies and styles, usually including some recreational bodybuilding, functional fitness, and maybe even hybrid training.

You love lifting weights, you enjoy looking strong, functional and athletic, and you also want to build an engine and look after your health, joints and body long term.

Realizing that you CAN train alone and even self program successfully, you're still coming to the conclusion that it's more fun to have the decisions and structure around an elite GPP program taken care of, and to follow a tried and tested method that's proved to develop all of the components you want in a single training program, instead of having to attempt to splice together half cobbled programs and styles and hope the cake bakes properly.

2. Is there a minimum term?

We request a minimum of a 12 week term from our members, and begin a rolling monthly agreement there after with just a 30 day cancellation policy.

3. How do I cancel?

Emailing the team at [email protected] will allow us to begin processing your cancellation according to our 30 day cancellation policy.

4. How many sessions per week?

The Program currently has 5 sessions and is likely to be all you need. For those keen-beans amongst you, however, if you'd like to include further work around ther MG program, we advise you submit a question for COACH Jim, explain the situation as fully as fully as you can and he'll walk you through how to and when to include the other work you'd like to include.

5. What else do I get?

In addition to the program, you get access to our amazing online community, weekly Q&As, MEMBER HANDBOOK, and a brand new video released to the community every Sunday evening at 1800 GMT explaining the ins and outs of the training for the following week.

6. How long is the average session?

Obviously there is variability here, but each session lasts on average between 60-75 minutes. Very rarely will they go beyond 90 minutes.

7. What equipment do I need?

Almost all of the equipment required will be available at a commercial Gym, with a few specialist pieces (such as sandbags and farmers walk handles) still very likely to be available at your average CrossFit box.
